Heartland Region Initiatives

The Apostolic Multiplier Roundtable

Since one of the key reasons to partner together is to unleash Apostolic Multipliers so new Kingdom growth can be catalyzed, the Heartland Region created the Apostolic Multiplier Roundtable (AMR). Five key missional criteria were established to identify Apostolic Multipliers within the Heartland Region. Individuals who met the criteria were invited to serve on the AMR.

Each District in the Heartland Region pledged to contribute 5% of their Annual Operating Budget for 3 years (2018 – 2020) to be given to the AMR to be used at their discretion to meet the two general guidelines below:

  • It is recommended that 50% of the monies provided be used for events and opportunities that would provide benefit and fuel the passion of the AMR members and provide training and mentoring opportunities for those who exhibit strong potential toward apostolic gifting and fruitfulness.

  • It is recommended that 50% of the monies provided be used for church planting and multiplication initiatives that would provide tangible kingdom results.

ELEVATE

We believe that the adage is true: Everything rises and falls on leadership. That’s why one of our earliest shared initiatives is a leadership development pathway where pastors from all four districts gather for one day each quarter for high quality training from Pastor Ken Murphy and his team at Cypress Wesleyan Church in Columbus, Ohio. And while the training is great, the power in this process is found in the life-on-life investment that pastors make in each other at their table as they share their current ministry challenges, work out specific applications of the teaching to their current ministry setting, and pray with and for each other.
